Baltimore Juvenile Justice System Community Advisory Board

Composed of parents of detained youth, neighborhood leaders, service providers, policymakers, and researchers, the Subcommittee on Program Development and Accountability is leading efforts to ensure that: youth and families involved in the Juvenile Justice Center receive the most effective and appropriate services possible; youth and families in need of services are linked to community-based programs; procedures are identified and implemented to monitor the needs of youth and families; appropriate data are collected and used in monitoring the extent to which the new JJC is leading to more positive outcomes for children and families; local and state policies; and programs are consistent with the needs of Baltimore’s youth and families.
