Government and Community Affairs

The Northern District boasts 52 recognized neighborhoods with over 70 active community associations. The district is home to higher learning institutions includ­ing Johns Hopkins University, Loyola and the College of Notre Dame. Financial contributions have been used to support the district’s Holiday program. Together with the Northern District, JHU and community groups establish and support Neighborhood Citizens on Patrol campaigns and implement the Hopkins Crime Watch program.
