Stroke Center Community Outreach
By increasing awareness the outreach center will enable men and women from the community to be more active in preventing stroke and seeking treatment. The Stroke Center has a mission to provide education about stroke symptoms, risk factors, prevention and acute treatment to the community, especially people that have a high risk of stroke. Monthly stroke screenings are held at the Northeast Market serving roughly 50 people per month.
