Hopkins Association for Stroke Awareness (HASA)

Hopkins Association for Stroke Awareness aims to reach out to the Baltimore community to increase awareness of strokes (both causes and indicators), as well as the possible consequences. HASA’s mission is to decrease stroke prevalence, especially in the inner-city population of Baltimore. Through volunteer work with clinicians, screenings and other methods, HASA hopes to provide information and care for a large segment of the population.
