Early Psychosis Intervention Clinic (EPIC)

The Early Psychosis Intervention Clinic is a specialized treatment program for patients who are currently experiencing an initial psychotic episode or have received a diagnosis of a psychotic disorder within the past year. The program provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, second opinion diagnostic consultations, individual therapy, family support and education groups, and medication manageĀment services. EPIC has direct access to child and adult psychiatric rehabilitation programs, partial hospitalization services, a sheltered employment program, case management and mobile services, as well as referrals for neuropsychiatric testing when necessary. The program is designed to provide immediate treatment in order to reduce psychotic symptoms, avert hospitalization, improve compliance with outpatient services, and improve overall day-to-day functioning across all settings.
